The 45 years old mastermind has decided to update a 1985 horror comedy this time. It has been reported that the new version would retain the old tone but would be upgraded with latest special effects.
The producer of Emmy award winner drama was earlier writer of ‘Buffy the vampire slayer’ and its spin off show ‘Angel’ as well. Betty returning for Christmas – “A secret”
Hey fans! What do you think Jon Hamm was up to in the season finale “Shut the door, Have a seat” of our much loved Mad men show.
Well, just think what could have happened to Jon Hamm after all the crushing he took.
Poor Don! (Jon Hamm) .His marriage was also busted.
No-No! This time he wasn’t going to die wondering. I just cherished the theme. Although he comes across as a personality just like any common man, he showed the powers concealed behind him.
It was worth watching and indeed feeling the passion behind the Sudden and rather appreciated change in Don Draper. Not only that, the season finale also accomplished radical changes in the lives of other characters as well.
Can anyone think what happened with the Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce advertising company? Well, the season finale marked the setting up of the new company with partnership from Joan, Peggy, Harry and Pete.
It was indeed very heartening to see the companionship between Sterling and Don being rejuvenated.
A radical change was about to happen when Betty ousted Don from her residence after their divorce.
Here we come to the most tantalizing part of the episode for which I thought it was certainly the best of the season.
The main attraction of the next season would certainly be Betty whose returning for Christmas still remains a secret.
Just Guess! Why its so?
Actually, Betty had to accomplish a condition according to which she had to stay with Henry Francis for six weeks. So, she had to leave for Reno.

Let’s Talk With “Mad Men” Star Jon Hamm

I am sure that you all must have got excited with the heading of this blog post. So without wasting any time, let’s se what Mr. Jon Hamm says.
When Jon was asked about how does he distinguishes his views about Don as a viewer and as an actor, he said, “It's hard for me to separate the two, because I'm obviously much closer to the character than most of the viewers. And also I'm very protective of the character.”
He also added that there may be numerous viewers of the show who aren’t very much happy with Don in this season, coz of his choices and opinions. However, they don’t agree to the fact that he is considerably hurt.
Adding to his words about the same question, he said, “It's a challenge to make him sympathetic because he does make so many difficult decisions. But again, they are motivated by how the guy was raised. I do think he loves his family very much. I think he's hard time expressing -- or at least maintaining -- that and still be true to himself. It's a difficult line to walk. What I enjoy about him as an actor is walking that line. And that's what makes it difficult to watch as a viewer. You're by turns transfixed and repulsed by this guy.”
When Jon was asked that what in Don resembles to may others, he said that he doesn’t know what that is. And then he added that people have liked him for such a long time, as he was cool, unflustered and stylish. But now all that stuff continues no more, people are in doubt about the fact that whether they like him or not. This is the reason why he thinks, it’s complicated to answers this question.
When he was asked if he thinks the role he is playing is challenging or not, he said indeed it is. He added that it is more challenging than anything else. However, afterwards he modified his answer and said It was challenging but in an affirmative way.

Upcoming Episodes Of Mad Men
Being a crazy fan of Mad Men, I keep looking for what’s gonna happen next of this super hit TV show. As we all know that this marvelous TV show had successfully completed two long season and in through with the third season. That is why I thought that you all will like information about the upcoming episodes of this season.
Well, the last aired episode was "Souvenir". This episode was aired on October 4th 2009. In this episode, we all say that Don and Betty went on a professional tour. Whereas Pete was shown helping a neighbor. This episode was set in near the beginning of August 1963.
Now the next episode is scheduled to air on October 11th 2009. This episode will be entitled as "Wee Small Hours". In this episode, Don and Sal will have some issues over providing what their clients are looking for. And on the other hand, Betty will host a benefit.
The subsequent episode will be entitled as "The Color Blue". This time it will be shown that the law firm rejoices their achievements. Whereas Peggy and Paul try to win on an account. This episode will be the tenth episode of this season.
The eleventh episode will air on October 25th 2009. It will be entitled as "The Gypsy and the Hobo". This time, an ex-client will be shown coming back, whereas Betty will be shown going on a tour with kids. However, Joan and Greg make plans for their forthcoming future.
Twelveth episode of this season will be entitled as "The Grown-Ups". This episode will air on November 1st 2009. This time, Don gets together with an applicant and Peggy second guesses her taste in men. In the meantime, Pete takes a big pronouncement.
"Shut the Door and Have a Seat" will be the thirteenth episode of this season. In this episode, Don meets up with Connie whereas Betty takes a little guidance. Even Pete was shown talking to his clients.

AMC’s Mad Men is a fresh TV show, as it has just two seasons in the bag of experience, yet it’s popularity is sky touching. And same is the case with the stars that appear on the show. Last month on August 16th 2009, third season of this series kicked off. And like previous season, this season has also been welcomed by all the fans of the show with open hands. You all will also be surprised to know that the season opener of the third season, "Out of Town" had 2.8 million viewers.
Till date, four episodes of the third seasons have been aired. This season has a total of thirteen out of the world episodes. Fifth episode of the third season will air on September 13th 2009. This episode will be entitled as "The Fog".
In this episode, due to Sally’s strange behavior, Pete tries his level best to use a new approach in his business transactions, whereas Betty gets affected by an odd dream.
In the sixth episode of this season, "Guy Walks into an Advertising Agency", Sterling Cooper may get a sudden visit whereas Sally is frightened and on the other hand, Joan may also get some news that she have never expected. This episode will, air on September 20th 2009.
I have been watching this show since its scratch. And this season has also been regularly watched by me. This season is going well so far and I expect that the same will be continued further.

Mad Men’s Star Jon Hamm’s Dream Finally Came True
This time, I have got such happy news that all the fans of Mad Men, especially those who love Jon Hamm, will be more than happy.
In St. Louis Jon Hamm and Jenna Fischer got an opportunity to meet for an afternoon. But they weren’t alone, as many other celebrity couples were there at this year’s Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrities Softball.
About this, he said "Oh my God, I’ve always been a huge Cardinals fan, I remember going to the World Series in ’82, ’85 and ’87, and this is amazing. The fact that the All-Star Game is in St. Louis and that I’m playing here this week, it’s all pretty cool. I would have come for the game anyway."
Actor Jon Hamm fulfilled a childhood dream- on that night when he took part in the celebrity softball game in his Missouri - because he played on the same soil as his beloved baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. Hamm admits he was not able to control himself prior to that night because the huge honor was like a dream come true.
Jon portrayed the role of Don Draper on the AMC’s television series Mad Men. His real name was not Draper but was Richard (Dick) Whitman. He was raised by his abusive father and his wife.
Draper is the innovative director and a junior partner at the untrue advertising agency, Sterling Cooper. He is measured as an asset to the company as he has considerable talent for understanding the requirements of others and advertising ideas to them. Draper’s past was unknown to the employees. This character was widely appreciated by all the fans of the show.

Mad Men Rocks
Anything, which has any concern with the wonderful TV show, Mad Men makes me high. But something that touches my heart is its music. I am crazy the way its music is. This time I would discuss my favorite Mad Men music.
"A Beautiful Mine" comes first in my list of my favorites. This track has been put together by Aceyalone & RJD2. This is the opening of every episodes of the show.
Other music that fascinates me is by David Carbonara. It is "MAD MEN SUITE".
I do also find Don Cherry’s "Band of Gold" interesting. This music was played in the episodes entitled “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes”. It was played in the opening sequence. Whereas, at the end of the same episode, "On the Street Where You Live" by Vic Damone also pleased me.
In the episode Ladies’ Room, "I Can Dream, Can't I?" by the one and only “The Andrews Sisters” was also amazing. The added life to the composition. Had anyone else had played it, he/she wouldn’t have been able to put forward as well as “The Andrews Sisters” did.
Even Bobby Vinton’s "P.S. I Love You" is also appreciable which was there in the third episodes of season1.
Ella Fitzgerald’s "Manhattan" also deserves to be in my favorites as it was successful to touch my heart. This music was there in the episode New Amsterdam.
Others that are also in my list of favorite are The Tornadoes’ "Telstar" (appeared in the episode The Inheritance), Bobby Helms’ "My Special Angel" and Acker Bilk’s "Stranger on the Shore" (which was there in the episode entitled, Meditations in an Emergency).
I love each of them and very often listen to them. Trust me guys, they rock!
All of the above mentioned compositions are the best and if you listen to them once, then you will find yourself irresistible to listen to them again and again.

Yes this is what I think about the famous television series Mad Men. I can recall a number of quotes all the way from Mad Men. I thought fans of the show may find them interesting.
First one of them which I remember is, “Draper? Who knows anything about that guy? No one’s ever lifted that rock. He could be Batman for all we know." This was said by Harry Crane in the episode entitled Marriage of Figaro, in the season 1.
"Just so you know, the people who talk that way think that monkeys can do this". Don Draper said this quote to Peggy in the pilot episode of the season 2.
Another quote, which I found funny, is "You know what my father used to say?
'Being with a client is like being in a marriage. Sometimes you get into it for the wrong reasons, and eventually they hit you in the face.” It was said by Roger Sterling to Don Draper in the episode entitled Long Weekend, in the first season.
Next quote is a flirty one, "Here's your basket of kisses”, said by Peggy in the episode entitled as Babylon, in the first season.
"Remember Don…when God closes a door, he opens a dress.” was the last one which I could recall. This was said by Roger Sterling in the episode, A Night to Remember, in the season 2.
Being a crazy fan of Mad Men, I often use many of then personally. I just love each and everything about this show. I can hardly remember anything as interesting as Mad Men. No doubt that this show is very young and has just two seasons to its credit, but trust me guys its fan list is not shorter than any other very popular show.
