During a recent tête-à-tête, the 28-year-old hottie, who plays the character of copywriter Peggy Olson, revealed that the basic scripting of the story arcs actually keeps two central characters in the limelight.

While giving her viewpoint about the not-so-obvious story arcs, Elisabeth explained that that in any other show, Peggy Olson and Don Draper (Jon Hamm) would have romance brewing between them.

Well, she is absolutely correct, as in Mad Men, we get see the creative director of Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency, Don Draper maintaining a professional distance with his colleague Peggy Olson.

The relationship between the characters is quite different, yet deep. And according to Elisabeth, this is one of the greatest virtues of the period drama. Even though this show traces the individual stories of the characters, but the atmosphere of ad agency gives a completely different color to the plotline.

It has already become evident that both the stars don’t have an affair between them in reel life. But what about some sort of link-up in their real life!

I think, currently, there is no chance for Elisabeth to bewitch the hunk, as he is too busy with his partner Jennifer Westfeldt. In fact, the lovebirds are all set to feature together in an upcoming comedy movie Friends with Kids.
